About the Role
The Brand Manager will lead brand messaging and content strategy in partnership with channel marketing, commerce, member experience, product management, and agency partners.   You will develop and execute brand strategies to drive growth, awareness, and customer loyalty.  This role supports the head of Brand Management as well as the Brand Manager for Product & Innovation in shaping and promoting the ButcherBox brand identity.
Responsibilities
•Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company’s goals and vision, blending traditional and digital marketing in cohesive consumer-first campaigns
•Develop and own integrated planning calendar in partnership with Integrated Marketing Planning to translate brand and marketing objectives into strong messaging, content, and marketing campaigns to support member acquisition and retention through paid and organic social, affiliate programs, email, SMS, and website
•Manage the brand’s identity, including logos and colors, as well as meat sourcing messaging.  Protect and enhance the brand’s reputation
•Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, R&D, merchandising, product and marketing channel teams, as well as agency partners, to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints
•Lead rollout of new brand messaging, working in partnership with channel marketing, member experience and website team to ensure that brand messaging and content is updated at every touchpoint of the consumer journey from acquisition to website experience, member onboarding and member retention
•Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed
•Develop holistic view of macro trends, category & competitive landscape, and a deep understanding of consumer motivations to identify key opportunities for growth
Requirements
•5+ years’ experience in consumer brand management
•Proven track record in connecting brand and product marketing to measurable business outcomes
•Experience collaborating successfully with internal creative teams and external creative agencies
•Comfort leading, collaborating with, and influencing team members in a cross-functional work environment
•Proven ability to build and execute on new initiatives and roadmaps each year
•Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an exceptional attention to detail
•Hard-working and creative person who loves solving difficult problems and “getting it done”
•Experience in partnering with product teams on website rebranding desired
•Experience in meat or food products a plus
•MBA a plus
$135,000 – $145,000 a year
