This role is a Fixed Term contract for a period of 6 months.

You will play a crucial role in supporting the development, activation, and monitoring of our Culture strategy. This position is situated within the People team, and you will work closely with the Head of Culture, gaining exposure to a diverse range of communication and engagement activities. From crafting newsletter content to executing internal campaigns, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication and Engagement: Take a proactive approach to our employee value proposition, ensuring effective communication and engagement activities. Support the internal communications strategy, conveying business priorities, and communicating progress to our people.
  • Content Creation and Management: Create, edit, and distribute colleague newsletters. Generate content for and maintain internal channels, including the staff intranet. Ensure content aligns with Purplebricks’ messaging and values.
  • Campaign Planning and Delivery: Assist in the planning and delivery of core internal communication and engagement campaigns and initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns successfully.
  • Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI): Promote and maintain an understanding of EDI principles.

Key Competencies/Behaviours:

  • Initiative and Adaptable Attitude: Ability to follow instructions and use initiative to progress work. Flexible and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Organisational Skills: Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • IT Proficiency: Good IT skills and understanding of internal communication channels. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Collaborative Approach: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and tasks, ensuring deadlines are met with high-quality output.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
