The communications department develops the messaging and communications strategy for Red Bull in Austria. Through storytelling, media work and the involvement of opinion leaders, consumers are reached, inspired and retained. As a communication manager, you independently implement projects in the areas of sports, athletes, gaming, dance, music as well as brand and products.

Your tasks will also include networking global content in the country organization. Project management, budget responsibility, media monitoring and reporting complete the profile in order to achieve Red Bull’s communication goals in Austria.

THE ROLE

COMMUNICATION IS THE BE-ALL AND END-ALL

Editorial communication in the areas of sports events, athletes, gaming, culture & brand

Creation and implementation of communication plans including production and distribution in all channels (TV, print, online, radio, social earned)

Internal communication & tools (intranet, media monitoring, success analysis)

 

NETWORKING, NETWORKING, NETWORKING

Acquisition and handling of external service providers and agencies (e.g. creation of briefings for texts, photo shoots, video productions, etc.)

Establishment and expansion of media contacts and agency or freelancer networks

 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Project management & collaboration with other Red Bull departments (project ownership, development of key messages, creation of 360° communication plans, coordination and coordination of needs & tasks)

Budget responsibility

Relevant to the role:

  • University degree, preferably studies in communication sciences, marketing (or corresponding practical experience)
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in PR / communications / media relations
  • Experience in the area of ​​PR / communication / editorial media work (event or project communication)
  • Experience in media production & distribution
  • Communicative, creative and assertive
  • Team player who enjoys working creatively and independently
  • Attention to detail without losing sight of the whole
