About the Role 
The Digital Content Officer will be responsible for the production and curation of content (including written and visual) for the new UTS website. This position will form a key part of the web content team and the transformation of UTS’s web presence.
The role will be based within the Digital Presence Program (DPP) a comprehensive program of work, scheduled over the next three years, to improve the effectiveness of UTS’s communication channels. The DPP is a joint Information Technology Unit (ITU) and Marketing and Communication Unit (MCU) venture and works in consultation across the university.
There is an opportunity to work from home some days with this role, with the expectation that there are anchor days in the office each week.
As the Digital Content Officer, you will:
• Undertake research, identify trends, and prepare documentation to support the Web Content Strategist in informed decision-making and content planning.
• Prepare and maintain DPP Content documentation, including content guidelines
• Work with University stakeholders to write/edit and source new written content for the UTS website
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to source visual content for the UTS website
• Curate image, video and component galleries within the CMS
• Provide additional ad hoc administrative support for the DPP Content team
As the ideal candidate, you will possess:
• Excellent organisational, time management and project management skills, including the ability to manage workflows, competing priorities and schedules
• Excellent research and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to develop, create, repurpose, and edit various content formats
• Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google Analytics and writing for web
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field Marketing, Communications or Project Management or 3 years’ experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
Remuneration/Salary
Base Salary Range: $91,254 to $98,805 pa (HEW 6)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and the appointment will be made on a fixed term basis until June 2025.
