Sam’s Social Media Club is helping MIMIK find a Marketing & Communication Intern.

MIMIK is the cultural entertainment spot in Deventer. With four cinemas, one multifunctional
theater hall, a bar and a café are all conceivable combinations of culture, experience and entertainment MIMIK possible. Surprising with a team of more than 40 employees and more than 100 volunteers and we like to enrich our visitors.

MARKETING & COMMUNICATION INTERN (32-36 HOURS)

As a Marketing & Communications intern, you and the team will devise creative actions to promote our… reach target groups and sell our performances. You will have some smaller projects independently, with plenty of room for your own input and creativity.

Furthermore, your week may include the following activities:

– Putting the film program online;
– Maintaining our social media channels;
– Writing texts for our website, newsletters or printed matter;
– Preparing our weekly newsletter;
– Distributing posters and flyer material;

Our marketing team consists of 4 employees and you will be an active part of it.

We ask:

• Are you a higher professional education student? Or an active, enthusiastic MBO student?
• Are you following a course in a relevant field of study, in which Marketing & Communication is one
play an important role? Think of commercial economics, catering, marketing, communication.
• Do you have an affinity with film, theater, catering and events?
• Do you speak and write Dutch well?
• Are you driven to learn and practice new competencies during your internship, such as:
collaborate, communicate effectively, organize and use creativity?

MIMIK is open all day, we are a lively meeting place in Deventer. Our theater performances are often controversial, but always special. From cabaret to theater and from literary to music. There is a lot of attention for young talent and new makers. You’ll see in our theater regular tryouts, especially of well-known, established names.

We program current films from all corners of the world. MIMIK shows films that have more to offer cinematographically and substantively than the regular cinema offering the largest possible audience.

Our catering industry is modern and hospitable. There is a lot of attention to healthy eating, sustainability and local food Products. Lots of vegetables, color and taste; that is our aim! You can go there for coffee and tea, lunch, drinks and dinner. The café has a spacious outdoor terrace and our bar has a balcony with a beautiful view over the IJssel and the floodplains.
