AANE Marketing Coordinator – Part-Time Remote (20 Hr/Week)

AANE helps Autistic and similarly Neurodivergent people build meaningful, connected lives. We provide individuals, families, and professionals with education, community, and support in an inclusive atmosphere of validation and respect.

AANE’s Life Management Assistance Program (LifeMAP) is an individualized life coaching program for Autistic adults and older teens. We’re searching for a highly qualified Marketing Coordinator to grow the private pay base of AANE’s LifeMAP program. The position will report to and be guided by AANE’s Director of Marketing and Communications.

This individual will help grow the LifeMAP program as well as AANE’s Autism Professional Coach Association, and the annual Intensive Autism Coach Training program through marketing, outreach, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, digital marketing, and social media. The Marketing Coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

The Part-Time AANE LifeMAP Marketing Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and coordinates efforts with the LifeMAP Program Director. This is a 20 hour per week remote role with a flexible schedule and supportive work environment. The work can be performed over multiple days as agreed upon with the Director of Marketing and Communication and the Director of the LifeMAP Program.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate, coordinate, and implement successful marketing campaigns to achieve immediate and long-term business goals including a steady flow of privately funded client applications, as well as marketing other LifeMAP related programs and services.
  • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success.
  • National digital outreach to create awareness among LifeMAP target audiences such as maintaining the rate of referrals from therapists and mental health professionals.
  • Limited local outreach to contacts from school transition fairs, as well as developing other outreach approaches.
  • Create high-quality marketing collateral, such as print and digital marketing flyers and marketing videos while following the AANE style guidelines.
  • Strategically leveraging our social media, email, website pages and landing pages to elevate visibility and awareness of LifeMAP nationwide.
  • Crafting engaging stories ranging from professional practice to industry trends and innovations in design across all media platforms.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Develop a multi-platform social media strategy, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, that identifies clear goals and criteria for success.
  • Create marketing materials such as emails, landing pages, brochures/flyers, and videos to promote LifeMAP services and events.
  • Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customers and provide recommendations to program and marketing and communications leadership on marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to social media platform algorithms, SEO and trends in order to manage LifeMAP page SEO.
  • Outline and manage LifeMAP’s portion of the organization’s Content Calendar by planning social media posts and email marketing messaging as well as articles and videos.
  • Track and analyze metrics, for website, email analytics, and social media response to refine strategy and improve engagement, SEO, and interactivity.
  • Ensure that communications reflect the organization’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion through inclusive language and imagery.
  • Assist with video strategy, including creating and publishing video marketing materials as needed.
  • Assist staff with writing copy and content production for articles, speaking engagements, and award submissions.
  • Assist Marketing Director with LifeMAP event strategy to identify and track key networking and growth opportunities.

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • Three to five years of work experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, and video production.
  • Experience, or facility to learn email marketing software, especially Luminate Online.
  • Working knowledge of CRM such as Salesforce or Raiser’s Edge is preferred.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office applications, especially Sheets or Excel and Slides or PowerPoint.
