Sam’s Social Media Club is helping Balmain find a Social Media Manager.

Passionate social media and content creator, in tune with cultural zeitgeist with a strategic and creative eye.

Support Director in the competitor and social trends analysis to help develop robust social media calendar, social content posting and building 360 global consumer marketing initiatives. The Manager will be dually responsible for editorial content planning, social media reporting, social listening analysis and budget management. This role is part of a dynamic, fast-paced global team that relies on strong cross-functional relationships, keen brand awareness and cultural awareness.

 

Accountabilities include:

 

GLOBAL OWNED MEDIA MANAGEMENT:

 

  • In partnership with Director, develop Owned Social Media strategy for Balmain Beauty brand.
  • Be the owner and post in timely manner on Global Social Media Channels (Instagram, Tiktok and more).
  • Develop Social Media Content Calendars for global cross functional team alignment and timely execution.
  • Brief Editorial team on all social copy needs and regional approvals.
  • Identify and optimize content trends, types, platforms and technologies through competitive analysis and research.
  • Oversee community management response team and direct to functional representatives for responding.
  • Manage meetings with fashion house on social and copy content/calendarization/approvals.
  • Collaborate with Communications team on earned synergies, including editorial/UGC sourcing.
  • Manage ID&E and Citizenship calendar in collaboration with the Communications Team.
  • Support Global Education with social media activations for specialists’ programs.

 

TREND ANALYSIS & REPORTING:

 

  • Manage and utilize social media listening and analytics tools for variety of team projects including Monthly Executive Summaries, Launch Reports, Content Deep Dives, Competitive Benchmarking.
  • Own organization, tracking and optimization of social media performance using global insight tools.
  • Turn category, social, education, cultural, consumer and digital insights into compelling platform and program ideas that both inspire and rationalize the development of break-through creative campaigns and executions.
  • Lead social/digital analytics and social media listening program working with the Director and third-party agencies to monitor overall program performance and provide data and insights to use as an early input to campaigns.

 

PAID SOCIAL MANAGEMENT:

 

  • Work with Director on global media strategy and manage day-to-day for all global advertising plans as it relates to fashion house approvals, tracking and art deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Global and Regional Consumer Marketing teams on paid social executions/synergies.
  • Manage global media agency access and approvals for Balmain Beauty Advertising Accounts.
  • Plan and execute global paid Instagram campaign.
  • Partner with editorial/marketing teams to create assets and copy guidelines for paid media executions.
  • Drive Social Sampling campaign management with agency and vendor.

 

OTHER

 

  • Support development of Strategy and Innovation presentations.
  • Manage invoicing and processing items including SOWs, vendor follow-ups, and payment tracking/processing.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in related field.
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital and social media
  • Well-grounded in marketing metrics and analytics. Advanced skills in Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Possesses the ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships and gain the respect of cross-functional and affiliate team members.
  • Demonstrated ownership of programs; embraces big picture objectives and follows-through on details.
  • Must possess pro-active critical thinking skills and the ability to take initiative, anticipate next steps and offer recommendations and solutions.
  • Accountable and very organized with the ability to handle a multitude of projects and prioritize.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication, who can well articulate needs and elevate issues.
  • Flexible team player with ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with agility and accuracy.
  • Strong detail-orientation and project management skills.
  • Luxury experience preferred.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,500 to $135,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
