Sam’s Social Media Club is helping Snowdonia National Park find a Digital Content Officer.

Snowdonia National Park Authority protects the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park. Covering 823 miles of diverse landscape, the Park is home to over 26,000 people, the highest mountain in Wales and the largest natural lake in Wales.

We are now looking for a Digital Content Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Digital Content Officer, you will develop our digital channels, including social media platforms, website, microsites and intranet.

Producing, procuring and uploading rich, engaging and accessible content and copy using the CMS, you will cover text content, images, videos and other media.

You will also use SEO, analytics, reporting and insights to inform the strategic development of our website as the primary, public-facing link between the National Park Authority and the general public.

Additionally, you will:

– Act as a point of contact between external creative agencies and our IT team
– Design and deliver training on website usage and event booking
– Assist in developing digital content and strategies for high-profile campaigns

About You

To be considered as a Digital Content Officer, you will need:

– The ability to communicate in Welsh and English
– Experience delivering social media campaigns
– Experience of website development and design and social media management
– Experience using CMS
– Experience of communicating contentious issues to the public
– Strong copywriting and editing skills
– To be educated to degree level in a related subject alongside professional experience
