Position: Marketing Coordinator

Responsible to: Marketing Manager

Location: Fully remote – work from home. Some attendance at in-person meetings required, max 1 time per month.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full-time), core hours of 9am – 5:30pm

Salary: £25,000–£27,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Our Marketing Coordinator role is based within the marketing team and the successful candidate will have responsibility of delivering content for a key business line across multiple audiences. This position will play an integral part in helping to develop and execute a marketing strategy designed to boost brand awareness and acquisition.

It’s the perfect position for a marketeer with experience in the charity sector looking for their next step up. You’ll need a good all-round skill set across the marketing remit including email, social, content creation, and reporting and the role would suit someone who has some digital experience in a fast-paced environment.

The role comes with a good level of autonomy; it’s a great position to showcase forward-thinking for the brand along with utilising various marketing skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  •  Delivering the group’s marketing strategy and budget for a key audience alongside the Member Marketing Manager
  • Liaising with various external agencies alongside liaising with the internal team to develop and execute campaigns across multiple marketing channels.
  • Developing and maintaining content including creative, blog and longform content writing, and implementing SEO tactics to boost visibility.
  • Management and implementation of the business’ LinkedIn accounts, including support for key team members, plus creation of content for other social channels.
  • Ownership of the email process for a key product across multiple audiences including campaign planning, triggered content and journeys.
  • Work with the Member Marketing Manager to support the sales team to help deliver campaigns that will drive acquisition and revenue.
  • Provide monthly reporting across several digital marketing routes linking back to specific KPIs.
  • Monitor, report and analyse on competitor activity including proposing updates and changes linked to market conditions.
  • Support with general admin tasks within the internal system

Candidate Specification:

  • Experience within the charity sector, preferably in a marketing or content creation position
  • Able to create multiple messages and assets within campaigns to optimise ROI across varied audiences
  • Experience working with external agencies a positive but not a necessity
  • Strong analytical skills seeing beyond the data and telling stories through insights
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to co-ordinate cross-department
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with key stakeholders
